June 27, 2006

I have'nt blogged in a while so I thought I'd give an update. This might be kinda random.

This weekend Steve and I are going camping in Grand Bend, Ontario. It's a place known as Pinery. Steve has been going there since he was a little kid. It should be nice, we are leaving Thursday morning and will return Sunday evening. I hope the weather is nice. Last year he took me and we had a blast. I'm sure we'll make it a yearly trip. I'm mostly excited to spend 4 whole days with him! We've never spent that much time together, just the two of us. I've already started packing!

I can't believe it's almost July already. It seems like since I graduated high school six years ago, time goes by faster and faster! The summer is no exception. Back in elementary school, summer vacation seemed to last sooooo long. Now it's like as soon as June is half over, September is around the corner. That reminds me. In one month I will be 24. Twenty-stinking-four!! I was just setteling in to 23. Where has time gone? I want summer to last forever!

As far as Steve and I, we're doing great. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I thank God daily for all he's given me just by bringing us together. I've never been happier. Infact, I day dream about us having a child or two in a few years. It's so great to think of Steve and his son/daugher going fishing together and us going to his hockey games or the kids' T-Ball games, etc. That's the life I look forward to. Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly content with where my life is right now, but it's fun to think of and plan for the future.

I had an Ultimate Chalupa for dinner last night. It was really, really good. You should try one! It was better than the Spicy chicken crunch wrap.
Speaking of fast food, Wendy's has a $.99 chicken sandwich now. I might have to try that soon! So, yeah, I've been watching TV lately.

Last Friday night, Sue (a lady I work with) and I went to check out the cruise and Riverview's fireworks. The fireworks were really nice. The cruise was ok. It's just not as fun now that my car doesn't look or sound so great. It's a lot more fun to drive in the cruise and check out other cars and people watch as well as show off your ride than it is to just sit and watch. It was cool hanging out with someone different but dammit if I didn't miss Steve. We are connected at the hip! He and I went Saturday, it was good to spend the day together.
I really hope that one day I can restore my car or get another one. It felt really good to have a car that I really loved to show off. It has MI cancer now and someone tried to steal the spoiler..twice. It also has an exhaust leak from the manifold...I need to get that fixed...SOON!

Well, that's really all I can think of for now. I told you it would be random!
