Today is Good Friday. The day we recognize Jesus dieing for our sins. On the third day He rose and on Sunday we will celebrate one of the most magnificent days ever! In honor of the Lord, I have decided to fast until Sunday. This means until Sunday morning, I will not be eating anything, only drinking water. I feel the need to do this to show thanks. The Lord died for my sins and because I am weak, I continue to sin daily. I'm only human after all. I think that I can "suffer" a little by giving up food if Jesus suffered on the cross and gave his life. This is my way of repenting.
Sunday, I will get up and stuff my face prolly, then go to church. Easter is my fave day for Church. I love it, it's so joyus! I am then having dinner at my house. I'm expecting to have my mom, Steve's mom and his brother over. This will be the first time I've hosted a holiday dinner, so I'm excited!
I wish some people weren't so wrapped up in the Easter Bunny idea that they forget what Easter really is.
